Live Under Dominion

"Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing..."

We face a another year, another beginning, another chance. For many a new beginning means to start again. Again? Yes, again. We may have tried before but again is an opportunity to reevaluate. Guess what though? This time again will be under God's dominion. In my previous post "Consider God" I mentioned that Merriam-Webster has one of the definitions for dominion as supreme authority. In "Live Under Dominion" I want to define supreme though dominion is the focus. Supreme means, also according to Merriam-Webster, the highest in degree or quality: greatest or highest as possible. Therefore, there is no power greater than God's. With God's dominion sure victory is in sight. Actually, sure victory is not only in sight but had. With again moving toward destiny, goals, achievements and desires is possible.

Gods dominion is the final say. With Him as supreme authority there are no ifs, ands or butts about whether we succeed or not. Our responsibility is to remain under the shadow of His wings. If we take matters into our own hands we will be consumed by worry, doubt and fear. What a blessing it is to have God as our strong tower. The righteous run into it and are safe (Prov. 18:10). With that scripture fear or any other obstacle shouldn't have the final say in our progression. They may be present but while living under Gods authority we can be assured that He will dominate in our every circumstance.

I want to encourage you, this year make a commitment to stay with God. Stay under His divine will and dominion. His supremacy guarantees your success. Let this year be a year that you allow God to state the demands, you obey and watch your outcome have His dominion evident all over it. Be blessed this year and many years to come, Under God's Dominion.

Let's Pray...

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for how powerful you are. You hold all power in your hand and this year we want to continue to acknowledge your sovereignty as well as reverence your authority. With you all things are possible. Take full control of our lives that we may fulfill your purpose on the earth. Be glory, honor, dominion and power now and forever. In Jesus' name. Amen.
